WordPressWordPress has become the foundation for the majority of webmasters. It offers an easy access dashboard and increasingly efficient applications that help optimize your WordPress platform. It also  contains a wide range of variables making duplicates of your website is nearly impossible. This wide spread usage of WordPress has spawned an enormous library of both article and video tutorials that outline the systems inner-workings.

Benefits Of WordPress

WordPress has taken website hosting and broken it down into a simple GUI that gives easy access to the websites options and features, while leaving the code editing side out of the equation. Below is a list of excellent features this system offers to every webmaster.

  • Free: WordPress is free to download and is even easier to install, making it a very efficient way to run your website of choice. Additionally, WordPress provides hundreds of themes geared to every kind of website, for every kind of niche.
  • No Coding: The beauty of WordPress is the ‘No Code Needed’ GUI system that allows you to customize everything you can think of, so the need to learn coding languages (HTML, Java, etc.) is no longer necessary. It also takes the dependence of a web designer out of the equation. There are hundreds of free theme’s available that offer multiple interchangeable features to customize your website even further.
  • Website Diversity: WordPress has always been known for blogging, but it supports multiple types of websites and not just the blogging platform. Webmasters have been known for hosting E-Commerce Online Markets to Wallpaper Galleries.
  • SEO Capable: This is a system built for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) as well as easy access to that information. This is a huge benefit to knew websites, most CMS programs aren’t as efficient and start you off with a very low level of SEO. WordPress on the other hand starts you off with almost everything you need, you just need to edit the fields to suite your needs.
  • Customization: While there are hundreds of free themes, it might be hard to find the right one. If you have access to a web designer, you can generate a theme of your choice that’s as specific in detail as you want it.

WordPress has been the choice of webmasters of all kinds, bloggers, small business owners, web designers, etc.. All the reasons listed above make it hard not to choose WordPress. I’ve personally been using it for a few years now and I have had absolutely no problems with this platform. Keep in mind, the free plugins that fellow webmasters and designers create can be harmful. Meaning that they can be incompatible with your theme or other plugins and they can corrupt your system. Making a backup every so often is a good idea and as it turns out  there’s quite a few plugins for that.
