Will Google FallPublic polls and studies will tell you that that the majority of people use Google to find their answers. Why use Google though, what makes this particular search engine special? The answer is simple, its popularity and habit, and the fact that its most likely your homepage. Google has grown to the point that there is a strict definition for their name, ‘Google’ in the dictionary. The search engine alone receives hundreds of millions of requests a day, making it the most popular site on the planet.

Will Google Fall?

Google is a massive company that has more power than they will ever want to admit. They earn billions yearly and are competing for the social media market with nearly unlimited funding at their disposal. However, they are getting a little to close for comfort when it comes to personal knowledge and research about individuals. There will, at some point, be questions about how much online recorded information about a person is to much? Google has a great reputation to help defend and back their actions, but one accusation to draw out the rest. Google has never had any real problems though, they are a large friendly, reputable search engine provider that gives very accurate results based on keyword searchs. Google doesn’t have very many angry fans either, you can always post on a forum and find people who hate Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, Myspace, but I have yet to see a thread dedicated to slandering Google.

Google has developed an anchor on the web by making itself an online starting point for millions of daily users>. Not to mention their overwhelming size and strength, if anyone of their business ventures fails, they always have their search engine side to fall back on. Google’s main goal is to deliver accurate results based on keyword searches, but until they are over powered, falter, or fail at this task, they will never fall. Google has proven their ability to revive themselves when expansion attempts fail, after all, their Google Plus community is their third attempt at gaining a foothold in the social media market.
